Simply Wonderful

I'm so blessed that I shared a wonderful Christmas time with my family and friends from near and far.  They came as far as Australia, Philippines, East Coast, Midwest, and as near as, just my neighborhood.  I thought the parties would never end (I wish, sigh).  I met a bunch of relatives I haven't seen in ages in a series of family reunions.  I laughed a lot, talked a lot, reminisce a lot,  and ate a lot.  Here are some of our photos, it's too bad I can't fit them all in this blog (would probably overwhelm all of you).  Enjoy!

 

 

Top Ten List That Christmas Is Here

1. FB friend is almost done with her Xmas shopping.
2. Christmas tree lots are in full swing.
3. Nieces and nephews have their gift list written.
4. Sisters are shopping for party dresses.
5. Family parties are already scheduled.
6. It’s cold and temperature runs below 50’s at night.
7. Coats and sweaters are the clothing staple again.
8. Experiments are in full force ahead to finish before the holidays.
9. Advertisements for “Black Friday”  (the biggest after Thanksgiving sale) are on the radio, TV, and flyers.
10. I’ve been listening to a radio station playing Christmas songs on my way to work for a week now.

The Big 4-0

My reaching this magic age next month is inevitable.   I never had problems with the previous milestones, but this one, I don't know. ..... Somehow I feel the need that I should be feeling something.  I can't seem to pin point what it should be though.  Which brings me to the fact that I probably should just embrace this with grace.  

Let's see, what about a list for what I should be thankful for before reaching the Big 4-0. 

1. Wonderful Family and Friends
   
2. Excellent Health
3. Incredible Job and an Exceptional Boss
   
4. Freedom to do, think, feel, whatever I want, whenever I want
5. Beautiful roof over my head

This list could probably go on and on, but I won't bore you with it.  For those who will be reaching another milestone, here's a little secret, it only gets better and better.
